This week we celebrated Halloween. The students learned the ingredients and different steps of a spider-shaped cookie recipe, and then put it into practice with the help of the teacher and culinary students. Before eating the cookie each of them had prepared, they had to present the recipe in English. They did so well that there was a reward: they got to taste their own creations! They were delicious! Happy Halloween to everyone!
Esta semana hemos celebrado Halloween. Los alumnos y las alumnas han aprendido los ingredientes y diferentes pasos de una receta de galletas con forma de araña y luego lo han puesto en práctica gracias a la ayuda de la profesora y el alumnado de Cocina. Antes de comerse la galleta que cada uno había preparado, han tenido que contar dicha receta en inglés. Lo han hecho tan bien que ha habido premio: ¡han podido degustar sus propias creaciones! Estaban deliciosas!

Our students here in sections 1 Brit and 2 Brit studied how to make cookies for the English class. They learned recipes for the most delicious Halloween cookies and wrote them down in English for everyone to see! They also had fun putting this into practice and baking their own cookies. Finally, they shared them with peers.
